How do I manually configure Windows NT 4.0+ for dialup? Go in My Computer and double click on Dialup Networking of NT4. You should get the Wizard to set-up the Phone book entry, if not select More, User Preferences, Appearance and tick Use Wizard to create new Phone book entries OK and New.
Press OK
Type in Team Partners Internet and select Next.
Tick all three boxes and select Next.
Make sure that Use Telephony is unselected and type in 08450551877 and select Next.
Select Point to Point protocol and select Next. Select None and then click Next.
Select Next.
Enter the DNS number as above and click Next.
Click Finish.
This is your Windows NT4 connection correctly configured; you are now ready to dial using it. Click the Dial button.
Select OK and this should connect you to the Internet, you can then use Internet Explorer 2 or 3 as supplied with Windows NT4 to access the Internet. |
